Information for Village of Lisle residents about what their public officials are doing (or not doing) to fulfill their responsibilities to constituents.
Lisle is a community of hard working people who deserve much better than they're getting from their Mayor and Village Trustees, especially in these difficult economic times: better transparency, better focus on public safety, and much better attention to spending priorities.
Lisle also needs to look at revenue realistically. The projected revenue is too high. The decreasing total EAV in Lisle is going to hit hard in 2011-2012. Houses are still not selling, prices continue to fall, more foreclosures, commerical property foreclosures, etc. The is also no justification for estimating this amount of sales tax revenue.
